Preserving history

Preserve the old, create the new and contemporary hospitality in a historic landmark are the key to this unique project.

The listed historic building, used as a public bath from the beginning of the last century, showing German bathing tradition from art nouveau to the 90's, has been transformed into an unique new hotel with conference and spa facilities.

The heart of the project, the old pool with its ornate and art nouveau interior, has been given a contemporary twist with a sensible design concept making use of its full architectural spelndour creating one of Cologne's most spectacular bar and restaurant spaces.

Preserving history is, in our view, a process of restructuring, of creating a new experience of the old. Ask me about it.
