Jan Przerwa is responsible for development in the area of new technologies and computer-aided design practices as well as IT management at Pott Architects. As an architect and computer specialist he has held jobs in the US, Italy and Switzerland.
While still studying for his degree in architecture, Jan took a deep interest in the new information technologies and their application in architecture and design. After completing his diploma he has taken the additional degree of Master of Advanced Studies in Architecture at ETH Zürich.
For Jan architecture means a successful interaction of technology and creativity that creates functionality and sustainability. He specialises in concepts of complex geometry and has thus developed the outer skin of the Great Berlin Wheel as well as the roof of Hotel Stadtpalais in Cologne. At the moment he is in charge of the construction of the new private residence Hagen inside the UNESCO world heritage district in the city of Potsdam.
Jan Przerwa is a registered member of the Berlin Chamber of Architects.
